And that was only the start...I can't image a single place on the island we didn't see plus we had a wonderful outside picnic of local dishes and beverages. When we finally got back to the ship, it was late afternoon and I can't image a better way to discover the Azores!”

“It was a great trip on a small open boat. Our guide, Raquel a marine biologist was excellent. She was very informative and was sure to see that everyone could spot the dolphins or had any questions. We saw three different species of dolphins. Unfortunately we did not see any whales, however that is how is goes sometimes. The ocean was a little choppy that day but that made the boat ride all the more exciting. Great trip, great guide and a great ride. We would definitely recommend.”

Our guide also spoke Spanish which was nice. The boat was very clean and comfortable (and I have to add, the music on board was great too). The Islets are so interesting to see and so massive, definitely worth the trip just to see that. Also had a chance to see some whales and dolphins. Seeing them in the wild and in their natural habitat is nothing like seeing them in captivity in some "show".”
